A Luxury Safari in
Kanha National Park

Indulge in Kanha National Park’s tale of conservation and restoration is probably the most impressive of all Central Indian parks. In 1970 when Barasingha Deer was verging on extinction with only 66 odd individuals left, Kanha authorities banded together with the locals to initiate a breeding program, reduce poaching, relocate farms, and rebuild the natural habitat. Today, more than a thousand individual Barasinghas roam Kanha alongside tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs and more.

Day 1

  • Arrive at Jabalpur airport, ground transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park (3-4 hours).
  • Check into the resort, lunch and snacks will be available depending on your time of arrival.
  • Have a leisurely evening with a brief from your mentor about the upcoming safaris.
  • Dinner at the resort.
  • Head to bed as we have an early start the next day!

Day 2 / Day 3 / Day 4

  • Morning game drive.
  • Breakfast will be served inside the park.
  • Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
  • Relax and freshen up for a while.
  • Reconvene for lunch.
  • Post lunch, get ready for our Afternoon game drive.
  • Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
  • Tea, Coffee and snacks will be served on our arrival.
  • Swap some jungle stories and reminisce about the experiences of the day while reviewing photos along with some photo editing tutorials from your mentor.
  • Make our way to dinner.
  • Head to bed as we have an early start the next day!

Day 5

  • Morning game drive.
  • Breakfast will be served inside the park.
  • Exit the park after our safari and make our way to the resort.
  • Say our goodbyes until we meet again!
  • Checkout by 11 am.
  • Transfer to Jabalpur airport.

Inclusions

  • Ground transfers from Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh and back.
  • 4 Nights stay and meals at Bandhavgarh. Stay on double occupancy, single occupancy charges are different, please let me know if required.

Faq’s

Jabalpur is the closest airport to fly in. For people who want to travel by trains, the closest stations are Umaria (30KMS) and Katni (100KMS). We will help you with local transfer to Bandhavgarh by road at additional costs.

Yes, to ensure everyone has a good view and photography opportunities, there is a limit on the four participants per vehicle. Each vehicle is topped for an unobstructed view.

The vehicles are restricted to designated paths, and the distance to wildlife is regulated for safety. It’s crucial to respect the animals’ space and not disrupt their natural behavior.

Wear comfortable, earth-toned clothing for blending into the surroundings. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Comfortable footwear are recommended.

No, tripods are generally not allowed during game drives as they can obstruct the view for other participants. Monopods or bean bags are recommended for stability.

We recommend bringing a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (at least 400mm) for capturing wildlife. Additionally, consider carrying a wide-angle lens for landscape shots.

Game drives continue in light rain, but in case of severe weather conditions, the park authorities may cancel or alter the schedule for safety reasons. Participants will be informed accordingly.
