We stopped feeling like clients and started feeling like friends. We even swap recipes now.
Bill Masure, USA · A Tryst With Tigers
The most amazing moment: when we heard a few alarm calls, Lala explained the calls and triangulated the exact location where this absolutely stunning tiger would appear.
Peter Isaac, USA · Kanha National Park
From seeing our first pug marks and our first tiger, from witnessing our first kill to our first nursing mama tiger, those vignettes will live forever in my heart.
Kris Stern, USA · A Tryst With Tigers
His wildlife tracking is exceptional: those ears don't miss an alarm call in the jungle.
Guest, South Africa · Tiger Thali Tour
A once in a lifetime trip I can't wait to do again. Lala is an incredible host and ambassador of India.
Justin Smith, USA · A Tryst With Tigers
Where we go
Four tiger reserves in India, jaguars in Brazil's Pantanal and pumas in Chile's Torres del Paine, each chosen for what it lets you photograph.
Sandstone cliffs over sal forest and meadow, and among the highest tiger densities in India.
Sal forest opening into wide grass maidans, and the main stronghold of the hard-ground barasingha.
Dry teak and hard light, and tigers unusually relaxed about vehicles.
A thousand-year-old fort, three lakes, and tigers photographed against stone.
Jaguars photographed from a boat at eye level, plus giant otters, hyacinth macaws and 500 species of wetland bird.
Pumas photographed on foot in open country: Amarga and her kittens on the ridgelines, guanaco herds, and the granite towers behind.

Most guests plan six to eighteen months ahead. The earlier you write, the more of the calendar is still open.
