Red soil, sandstone, and grass
Tadoba's red earth and bamboo, Kanha's open maidans and Bandhavgarh's sandstone and sal are three different photographic trips end to end, spent four nights each rather than stretching one park across two weeks. It also spreads the risk — any single park can have a quiet week, and three parks over sixteen nights is the closest thing to insurance wildlife travel honestly offers. Safaris, lodging, meals in the parks, transfers and a Taj Mahal day trip are covered; international flights, the visa and travel insurance are not.

The itinerary
Arrive in New Delhi
Meet Lala at the Radisson Blu Plaza Airport Hotel. One night to shake off the flight and make a start on the jet lag before the parks.
Delhi to Tadoba
A late morning. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a flight to Nagpur and a night at Le Méridien, then on by road to Tadoba Jungle Camp for four nights.
Tadoba — three full days
Bamboo, red soil and lake margins, and the hardest light of the three parks. Tadoba's tigers are the most habituated to vehicles on this itinerary, which changes what is possible at close range.
On to Kanha
Four nights at Kanha Earth Lodge and three more full days in the park — open grass meadows, barasingha, and a completely different palette.
On to Bandhavgarh
Four nights at King's Lodge and three full days in the park. Sandstone cliffs and sal forest, and the last park before the flight home from Jabalpur.
Back to Delhi, and Agra
Fly out of Jabalpur and land in Delhi for two nights. After a night of rest, a guided day trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra, and back to the hotel in Delhi. The room is yours for that night too, in case you have a late-night or early-morning flight home.
